How is Under 3 Different?!

I love all children! A lot of children come in and out of my studio here in Charleston SC and it is always a pleasure to work with them and create beautiful imagery of their ever-changing faces! It seems like features are changing almost daily for children. I should know - my kids are now grown and out of the house! They're never quite the same and this time is fleeting. Even though I do specialize in capturing children and babies I do not recommend this experience for children under the age of three without an older sibling. It can be done! However, in my experience, children that young do not yet understand Santa and don't quite grasp the magic of Christmas just yet. Children under the age of 3 are often pretty scared of Santa as well. They don't want to sit with him and do not want to interact with Santa quite like an older child would. We want this to be a fun experience and it just can't be if the child is scared! The Charleston Santa Experience also has many fun things to do such as paint magic in the air, ride the magic sleigh, and read books! A child too young cannot do these things, therefore making it a little less magical. For these reasons we urge you to wait!
