I am a firm believer that moms and dads when present, should ALWAYS join in on a session with their children! WHY NOT? What is the worst that could happen?

Parents often forget the importance of being in photographs. We often hear, "I will get a family portrait after I loose 10 lbs" - WHY? And what if you don't loose the pesky 10 lbs? No one is perfect and I guarantee your children will love you weather you are 150 lbs or 140lbs! To them it makes no difference and it will not make a difference in the future either! Join in and enjoy the moment or you may have big regrets later.

Meet Jennifer! A busy Real Estate agent with Carolina One here in Charleston, SC. She brought her children for studio portraits and I asked her... don't you want to be in at least one image? She had not planned on it, she said she wasn't really "ready" but after telling her she looked great, she agreed.
