Portrait Art: A Pampering Experience for Families!
Aug 13, 2019 | By: Maria Sampaio
Self-care has become a buzz word lately. For many people, this means spending tons of money on long massages, trips to the salon, and girls’ nights out. (Don’t get me wrong.. These things are amazing, and I think all moms and grandma's need to take time for themselves to stay healthy and feel rejuvenated whenever they can.
As lovely as these are, most of the things that people think of as self-care are experiences that might leave you feeling great for a while, but when that moment is gone, it’s gone. What if you could have an experience that left you feeling pampered, supported, and energized, but you also got an amazing souvenir that reminds you of what’s really important to you--images that capture your children as they grow and turn them into timeless pieces of art that you’ll treasure for the rest of your life.
At Castelo Portrait Art, we treat all of our clients (big and small!) like royalty. You get your family dressed in their favorite clothing, hair and make up done, and enjoy our luxurious studio designed for comfort and stocked with anything your family could need to help them feel more at ease during your session.
(Don’t worry, if clothes stress you out, we love it when families send us photos of their choices ahead of time so we can make some suggestions. See Where to Buy Kid's Clothing in Charleston, SC. For our full-service clients, we will even choose clothes for your family that complement each other and help you create the exact look you’d like to display in your home.
Little girls will feel like princesses. They’ll dance and twirl as we capture their little personalities.. Little boys love to play and joke with master artist Maria Sampaio. Her years of experience in working with children (and also as a mom herself) means she knows exactly how to put children at ease and bring out their best.
Moms and dads tell us that they are relaxed knowing someone else is handling all of the details of the session. All of the families we work with know they’ll get an amazing portrait that looks perfect in their house. For our full-service clients, we will even measure their walls to make sure to get the perfect size portrait to fit in their space. We’ll come back later and even hang the art on the wall, too!
At Castelo, our goal is to save you time and energy stressing about things that might not be your forte.
We make sure it’s an enjoyable--even relaxing--experience for you, and will be a fun memory for your whole family. And you’ll be reminded of that experience every time you walk past your artwork for years to come.
That’s not something you can get from a massage or a bubble bath.
Adorn your walls with luxurious art featuring what you love most--your family.
