You HAVE to take the 45 seconds and watch the video below... children's honesty makes me laugh... and in addition to a great chuckle, you will also see a little of my process. People constantly ask me what a "portrait artist" is - and its hard to explain unless you see what I do. Now, not all images receive the same art work... some of my clients love just photographs, while others prefer a fine art piece... and others? An Oil Painting of their children! The image and artwork below are for my fine art line and I love that look. Its timeless, elegant and its simplistic which is, in my opinion, key to capture the essence of a child.

Every mother that shows up at my studio here in Charleston, SC I know expects a calm and easy session and its always super busy, especially with very young children. I also believe that most parents all leave thinking the same thing... 'there is no way she got much of my children... they were all over the place' - truth is I don't let anyone leave until I'm happy with what I got - true story! :)  This very patient mother showed up with her two little boys. They could not have been more adorable and the mother could not have been more patient. It was truly an amazing session and the images are to die for - I cannot wait until she comes to see these in a few days but I couldn't wait to share this! There are so many amazing images of them together and separate - so I thought Id share one for now.
