When is the last time you...?

When is the last time you had a family portrait done?

When is the last time you absolutely LOVED your family portrait?

Okay. . . when is the last time you put a family portrait on your wall?

These are the questions I ask my clients all the time when they have hesitations about having a family portrait done. Charleston, SC has no shortage of photographers in the area but how many portrait artists do you know? How many times have we gotten digitals back and just put them in a folder on our computer or an album on facebook and never looked at them again? I don't focus on that. I want beautiful artwork for your home that you will proudly hang up and fall in love every time you look at it. I don't want to focus on quantity over quality. Your family is ever changing. You're growing older with your loved one and your children are becoming adults. You're never going to look this way again and the children will certainly not be this age forever. Capturing this moment in time is crucial. It's capturing "this is when you played tennis," "this is when you were on the chess team," or even "this was in the middle of a pandemic." How important are those times? It may not seem important or even a blimp on your radar right now living it but it'll become more important when you look back. I know when I look back at my portraits of my 22 and 19 year old I'm flooded with emotions and memories. Memories THEY lived but don't remember. It's a story time, every time. It's moments you can't get back and it's always a reason to capture your family right here, right now.

Are you ready for your family session?
