Grace in Motion: Addison

Don’t mind the pajama pants—I just wanted to share a peek into my painting room and what I’ve been working on lately! I’m in the midst of a really special project that combines two of my favorite things: portraiture and dance. We’re curating a fine art unveiling at the end of the year that will showcase hand-painted portraits of selected dancers, each captured in a unique moment of movement and expression. After photographing them in-studio, I choose my favorite image and begin transforming it into an oil painting. This current piece has been a joy to work on—it’s elegant, classic, and filled with emotion. Painting has always been my way of escaping life’s noise, and creating this series allows me to connect my own artistic voice with the expressive beauty of dance. If you know a dancer between the ages of 4 and 18 who might want to be part of this beautiful project, we’re still taking applications. I can’t wait for the unveiling and to share all the surprises we have in store!
