"Both of my critters came into my life in unexpected ways. My dog Maggie has been with me for six years, and came into my life through a relationship. We took her in as my then partner’s father could not care for her anymore; she has been my shadow ever since. Circie, my cat, crawled in my lap one night as a kitten on the street. Both have become the best of siblings and the best companions I could ever ask for."
— Claire
These two remarkable companions found their way into Claire’s heart in the most unexpected of ways, and their bond has only deepened over the years. Maggie and Circie's relationship is a true testament to how pets rescue us in ways we never imagined. Maggie and Circie receive wonderful care at Hanahan Veterinary Clinic in Hanahan, SC, and if you're looking for a reliable vet, we highly recommend checking them out. They’ve been such a great support in keeping these two healthy and happy!
We were absolutely thrilled to welcome this beautiful trio into the studio—Claire and her two beloved companions, Maggie the dog (6) and Circie the cat (2). As part of our Who Saved Who portrait project, their bond is a heartwarming reminder that rescue is often a two-way street. Claire’s love for her pets radiated throughout their session, and Maggie and Circie’s connection as unlikely siblings was just pure magic. We were especially excited to photograph a cat and dog sibling set. Watching them interact with such comfort and affection was a rare and delightful treat!
